The road to the grove, beyond the welcome plaza, is closed to private vehicles when the shuttle is operating. There is limited parking in the Mariposa Grove Arrival Area for visitors who wish to enter the grove before or after the shuttle service hours. The gates to the grove closes at 7:30am.
Vehicles displaying a disability placard can drive up the Mariposa Grove Road at any time. There are designated accessible parking spaces at Mariposa Grove Arrival Area and at Grizzly Giant accessible parking area. Parking is limited.
Hours:
From approximately December to March, the Mariposa Grove Road is closed to vehicles and the shuttle no longer operates. The road, along with all trails within the Grove, remain open to hikers, snowshoers, and skiers.

Getting Here:
After entering
Yosemite National Park's South Entrance, turn right at the roundabout, the welcome plaza is less than a quarter-mile up the road.
Rules & Regulations:
Bicycles are not allowed on the Mariposa Grove Road or in the Mariposa Grove.
Pets are not allowed on any trails in the Mariposa Grove. Pets are allowed in the parking lots on leash only. Pets are not allowed on shuttles.
